M. Adam Summers was raised in a Christian home. His father was a pastor in Indiana and in Georgia, USA. Brother Summers’ mother was a stay at home mom who homeschooled him, an older brother and younger sister.
Brother Summers’ father attended Bible College at School of Scriptures located at First Baptist Church in Milford Ohio, where Dr. Charles Keen was pastor.
At age 11, during a mission’s conference at First Baptist Church in Milford, Brother Adam surrendered his life to the Lord.
In 2001 Brother Summers married Melody Whitaker in Chelsea Michigan. Melody’s family founded Faith Baptist Church of Chelsea in 1996. Together, the Summers’ began their life and ministry. The couple worked in this church under the leadership of Pastor Jack T. Story.
Brother Summers served a total of 7 years as both youth and assistant pastor. In 2008, the church pastor, Jack T. Story retired from the pastorate. The church then made Brother Summers their pastor.
Since 2008, the Lord has used Brother Summers’ teaching and preaching to bring Bible truth to many people along with Bible studies, discipleship class, and weekly expository preaching.
The church is growing through souls being; saved, baptized, and put into Christian service. The church has taken on Brother Summers love for God’s Word and is always excited to open their Bible together to be fed from its pages.
